What is the difference between a new order and a refill?
The first prescription that you fill with us for any medication is considered a
new order. Each prescription that you fill with us will create a new order
status. Once you have ordered a medication from us, and have passed the
physicians review successfully, then your order will be considered a refill
order. Refill orders are filled immediately. Certain medications require a physician's review every
time you order. Those medications are treated as new orders every time.
